Kim NgoWoodward
Born and raised in San Jose, California, I grew up loving photos, photoshoots, and photography mostly with people in it. I even took a photography course in college at Santa Clara University and purchased my 1st real professional entry-level camera (Canon Rebel) at 20 years old. Unfortunately, I didn’t go far with it.
Instead, I got into tech and startups (LOVED IT) and worked for a few innovative startups with amazing ideas, teams, and leadership. Most recently, I worked for Facebook and 500 Startups (a seed-stage VC) then launched my 1st startup, https://www.dishdash.co/.
Five years fast-forward, I became pregnant with twin baby girls, one year later, COVID-19 happened and with all the downtime and lockdowns, I dabbled in photography, learned from mostly wedding photographers, but didn’t take it seriously until June 2021.
And here I am today, launched and focused on family photos that are intimate, airy, and timeless. I am a family lifestyle photographer based in Singapore, traveling to both San Diego & San Francisco at least once a year (until this pandemic is over). But I’m open to traveling anywhere in the world for a beautiful photo.
